Energy Saving Pool Pump Bulk Buy
Running your pool pump can cost $500 to $1000 (or more) a year in electricity bills and produces tonnes of CO2. To help you save up to 80% of your pool’s power bills COOLmob has arranged a Bulk Buy of the variable speed Viron Pool Pump. To calculate how much money you will save in a year click here.
The pump is suitable for pools with sand, cartridge or DE filters. The pump saves energy by adjusting to the appropriate speed for filtration and is much quieter than conventional pumps. For more information (PDF attached – commercial brochure)

Each Viron Brushless DC motor is covered by a limited 3 year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. The technology incorporated in this efficient pump was designed here at Charles Darwin University!
NT Government Rainwater Tank Rebates
A new Territory-wide Rainwater Tank Rebate is now available providing rebates of up to $1900 after you purchase, install and connect a rainwater tank and guttering to your home.
Although the Bulk Buy of Solar Panels organised by COOLmob and Australian Solar Energy Society (AuSES) has contractually finished, installing Photo Voltaic (PV) panels on your roof to make electricity is still very worthwhile in the Northern Territory. It's a very competitive market as system costs come down, so hunt around for the best deal.
Eco-Kinetics, working with MECS, are continuing to install and fulfill PV orders in the Top End.
For more information on solar photovoltaic (PV) systems click the Green living infomenu item and read the fact sheets on Solar Power and Solar Panels - Mono versus Thin film panels.
