COOLmob Energy Efficient Project

COOLmob program has been funded by the NT Government to deliver the Energy Efficiency Education Program (EEEP). This project will deliver school, community and home energy efficiency education in Darwin, Katherine, Alice Springs and Tennant Creek in 2018/2019.

This program includes a primary school curriculum unit on energy efficiency, free home energy audits to low income earners as well as community engagement via free workshops and stalls at local events and markets.

COOLmob Top End (Darwin) will work in partnership with Arid Lands Environment Centre (ALEC) to deliver this project.

COOLmob hopes to understand how Territorians use power in their homes, what motivates them to save power and what barriers they face in becoming more energy efficient. Maybe you’d like solar PV on your home but can’t afford it? Maybe you just don’t know where to find accurate and simple information? All the information and data we can collect from YOUR experiences is really valuable, and will go into our final report to the NT Government, advocating for more accessible energy efficiency for Territorians.
