For more than 25 years, the national event run by Renew, Sustainable House Day, has provided a great opportunity for hundreds of thousands of people to visit some of Australia’s leading green homes – ones that are not only environmentally friendly, but cheaper to run and more comfortable to live in.
Step inside some of Darwin’s most inspiring homes and discover how sustainable design can transform the way we live. Join us for a relaxed morning exploring real homes that showcase smart energy use, passive cooling, and tropical garden design that works with the climate—not against it.
Choose from two sessions featuring a guided walking tour of local homes and a series of short talks and hands-on workshops led by local experts.
Learn practical tips you can apply to your own home, whether you rent, own, or are just getting started.
