Balcony Gardening: DIY Water Plants
WEDNESDAY 19 AUG 2020 | 5:30PM - 7PM
Darwin Community Arts
2-3 1 Travers St 0810
Come and get your hands dirty as you learn how to make a small water feature for your balcony or backyard with Emma Wooldridge and
Darwin Community Arts
. When used in the right environment, water features can encourage local species to visit for a drink or a bath (birds, dragonflies, bees, frogs, lizards, possums) - the element of water can help humans with relaxation too.
You will learn how to create a water feature using a ceramic pot with all materials supplied - you will simply need to take your creation home and choose the right plant for the perfect addition to your resilient, outdoor oasis!
*Young person and child-friendly event.
